The Tunde Cole Podcast

Rediscover who you are.
Build the capacity to live differently.

A podcast about identity, agency, work and the systems that quietly shape our choices.

I explore what happens when performance becomes identity, when we become too dependent on things we cannot control, and when the life we have built begins to leave us with fewer choices than we intended.

I am interested in what it takes to change that: to see ourselves more clearly, develop what we are capable of, create real value and honour the responsibilities that matter — while building a life with more room to choose.

Identity is foundation

Achievement can express who you are.
It cannot carry all of who you are.

The same is true of a job, business, title, income or reputation. Much of this podcast begins there.

But identity is not the finish line. Once you know who you are, what will you do with that foundation?

The recurring questions

Go beneath the familiar answers.

Identity

Who are you when achievement can no longer answer for you?

The stories we tell about who we are, where our worth comes from and what remains when achievement is taken away.

Agency & Freedom

What has more say over your choices than you intended?

The dependencies, expectations, fears and systems that can quietly gain more influence over our choices than we intended.

Work & Value

What can you create from what you know and can do?

How we turn what we know and can do into useful contribution, meaningful work and greater economic choice.

Responsibility

What do we owe to the people and commitments that matter?

Freedom is not the absence of responsibility. I explore family, commitments, consequences, stewardship and how our choices affect people beyond ourselves.

My Christian faith shapes how I understand many of these questions. My teaching and work specifically concerned with Christian formation has its home at The Anchored.

From listening to living

Stay with the question.
Then do something with it.

An episode may challenge an assumption or give language to something you have felt for years. The point is to see something clearly enough to live differently.

You might explore an Insight, use one of the tools or work through a Guide. What matters is taking something you have understood and putting it to work in your own life.
